Long-term Residents
If you love cats but are unable to have one of your own then why not sponsor one of our very deserving long-term residents!
Although Bristol's Leage for Cats was originally set up to rescue and re-home Bristol's stray and needy cats, along the way we have always tried to help cats that were unable to find help elsewhere, those that were elderly, sick, feral or difficult in temperament. Many of these cats are difficult to re-home because of their ongoing health and behavioural problems.
Your sponsorhsip can help these cats in the long term and will go toward their care in one of our foster facilities.
As part of your sponsorship you will receive:
* Sponsorship certificate
* Annual membership
* A copy of our regular newsletter
* A Xmas card from your sponsored cat
If you would like to sponsor one of our long term residents then please telephone us on 0117 9600304 or email us at bristolleague4cats@googlemail.com for more details
Stanley
Stanley (black & white, 8 years)
Stanley is a handsome cat that suffers from epilepsy, which is now under control with regular medication.
Lilia
Lilia (torti, aged 4 years)
Lilia is a dear little feral who had been caught in a trap and lost her leg and tail. We worried she would not make it but the vets did a wonderful job and she now lives happily with the other cats.
Sydney & Silvia
(black & tabby, both aged 23 years)
Sylvia and Sydney were initially taken into one of our vets to be put to sleep when their owner had died. Although they both had various health problems the vet felt they were too healthy to be put to sleep. They have been in our care for almost 5 years and are loved by everyone who meets them.

Poppy & Katie
(tabby & black & white, both aged 4)
These feral girls are still very nervous but happily interact with the other cats. They enjoy being in the garden area where they can climb and have a good scratch on their logs.

Billy & Milly
(tabby & torti, aged 4 years)
Billy (pictured left) and Milly are a brother and sister act that came to us as hissing and spitting bundles of fur - they have now settled in well as domestic cats but still don't like being picked up.

A feral living a rough existence came into our care along with her 3 babies who had been born under a conifer. All of the kittens have now found loving homes but Georgina still enjoys her feral lifestyle (although in the lap of luxury in Debra's garden complete with kennel and hot water bottle)!
