Bristol's League for Cats (registered charity 1080766) cares for stray, injured and unwanted cats within the Bristol area. As well as attending to the needs of cats and kittens until we have found them a suitable home we also care for a number of long term resident cats that will remain with us due to the severity of their medical conditions. The league is entirely run by volunteers so 100% of all donations go directly to the cats.

Our Aims
1. To take into care stray, abandoned, unwanted or needy cats within a 25 miles radius of the centre of Bristol.

2. Spay or castrate any cats coming into care before re-homing and promote the importance of neutering to  prevent unwanted litters and control the spread of feline disease, in particular FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Also assist with costs allowing families on low income or benefits to spay or castrate their cats.

3. To ensure any cat in our care receives veterinary care for any injury or illness it may be suffering from.

4. To offer the highest standards of care, including warm & safe purpose built accommodation.

5. To operate a socialisation programme, particularly for traumatised, nervous or neglected cats.

6. Actively encourage vaccination of cats and kittens and offer reduced cost neutering and vaccination schemes for all cats and kittens homed by Bristol's League for Cats.

We never put a healthy cat to
sleep but ensure their lives are as purr-fect as possible!
